Being emotionally supportive doesn’t come easy for a lot of guys.
Emotions aren’t their first language. Action is.
They’d rather do anything than sit there and listen to you talk about your feelings.
But that doesn’t mean they can’t learn to give you the emotional support you need. They WANT you to feel better. They WANT to be a good partner. It’s just that their desire to supportive is at war with their aversion to messy emotions. They hate feeling helpless to fix things.
