I feel like I’ve got whiplash when I look at relationships today.
On the one hand, there are guys like my friend’s new partner.
He’s gorgeous, but that’s the least important part about him.
He’s been married before, and when it ended he made the decision to do better. He started reading personal development. He took ownership of his part. He worked on a better relationship with his ex, which wasn’t easy.
And now he’s given my friend the gift of a committed, self-aware partner who invests time and energy into their relationship.
On the other hand…
There’s the manosphere, the guys online teaching men how to be “real men.”
They’re giving dating advice. They’re telling men how women supposedly think.
They’ve created an alternate universe where women are these biological robots with hot buttons that, when pressed, make them jump into bed or abandon the man they love for a more powerful alpha male.
You would THINK that no sane man would follow their advice.
But I changed my tune after a friend started telling me about the YouTube videos he was getting flooded with.
These videos were trying to convince him that only the top 10% of men were getting ALL the women…
That women could have any man they wanted, while the majority of men ended up single and alone…
That men were discriminated against in every area of society because of “emasculating women.”
Those videos are getting pushed to any man who searches for personal advice on YouTube, and they’re toxic.
Men today are being asked to join sides.
On the one side are the “suckers” who are trying to understand women and rise up to be better partners and family men.
On the other side are the alpha influencers encouraging their followers to rise up by putting women in their place.
Men have to make a choice. Which voice will they listen to?
Do they join the gender war… or do they work towards peace?
Do they win against women … or do they join forces with women?
Do they side with the brotherhood… or the family?
Their choice will ultimately affect every single one of us who works with and loves men.
If your heart is telling you that your man will choose resentment and blame over growth and understanding, then I have a free gift for you.
It’s called “The 10 Signs of Trouble,” and it will help you figure out how you’re being impacted by his beliefs.
