No matter how old you are, that fleeting sense of insecurity about how you look never quite goes away.
Even if it’s just checking yourself in the mirror one last time before leaving the house, you want to look good.
You want other people to think you look good.
You want men to think you look good. 😉
But what you see in the mirror is misleading.
You’re looking at your hair, makeup, skin, outfit. That’s not what interests most men.
Most men are looking at YOU.
At your smile. At your facial expressions as you talk.
They’re noticing how you move through the world. How you interact with others. The sparkle in your eyes.
Your body is a book they’re reading. They’re soaking up all that information instantly.
And they’re deciding if this is a book they might like to sit down and read.
Yes, some people judge books by their cover. But that’s not the sort of person you want in your life.
You want a man who sees an interesting cover, scans the first few pages, and is willing to sit down and spend hours lost in this new person’s world.
Reading a book takes commitment, patience, and the ability to look past the appearance of words on the page to get at their meaning.
If a man doesn’t want to do that, then it’s not a rejection of you—any more than choosing to read one book over another is rejection.
So my question to you is this:
Do you know what information your body conveys?
What does your body reveal about…
- How you feel about yourself
- What you like
- How you take care of yourself
- Your default facial expressions
- How you feel about life
- When you feel most confident
- What you want other people to think about you
